The Environmental Consultants Association (ECA) is presenting a series of three short seminars after work in March, April and May to assist environmental consultants better understand the uranium in-dustry. The uranium industry in Australia is currently constrained by policy. This could change in the near future with increasing international demand for low-carbon energy options.

Environmental consultants have potentially significant roles in site evaluation, environmental impact assessment, mining process monitoring, industry audits, waste management, mine decommissioning and other aspects of the uranium industry supply chain.

The ECA is not seeking to form a position or policy on the uranium industry. Instead, the Seminar Series is intended to better inform our understanding of the industry to increase the value of advice pro-vided by environmental consultants.

Each seminar includes a panel discussion followed by informal discussions over light refreshments. Non-ECA members are also welcome to attend one or more of these seminars.

All seminars will be held at The Melbourne Hotel, 942 Hay Street (corner Milligan Street), Perth and begin at 5:30pm.
