Woylie Walk
The ECA is offering the opportunity to visit the unique bushland habitats of the Woodland Reserve in Whiteman Park and see its rare and endangered wildlife in action on this fantastic tour guided by Dr Chris Rafferty (Land and Environment Team Leader at Whiteman Park) who has led the development of the Woodland Reserve project since 2010. You’ll be able to watch woylies and quenda feeding close to your feet, as well as spotting other species including the short-beaked echidna, bush stone-curlew and tammar wallabies.
There will be time from 5:30pm for some brief networking and a sausage sizzle dinner before the tour starts 6:30 near Carpark 5a. The tour is expected to end at 8pm and attendees will need to wear enclosed shoes and bring a water bottle.
Tickets are very limited and will sell out so get in quick to secure your spot!
