Adam's area of expertise and passion is aquatic ecology, specifically freshwater and estuarine ecosystems. He is enthusiastic and driven to ensure our inland waters are managed sustainably, and enjoys the educational and awareness challenges of wetland conservation.

Adam has extensive consulting experience in water/sediment quality monitoring, baseline aquatic biota surveys, assessment of dewatering and discharge operations, environmental impact assessments, and development of system-specific water quality guidelines. He is proficient in a range of statistical analyses (uni- & multi-variate) and interpretation of biological data, and has led numerous large scale and multi-disciplinary projects in remote and difficult locations for a range of clients in the mining, government, and community sectors in tropical, subtropical, semi-arid, and temperate areas both within Australia (WA, NT & QLD) and internationally (Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands). Adam has a proven record in the preparation and timely submission of project reports for government and industry clients, and has presented study findings in a variety of public forums.

Adam has project managed and provided high level technical advice on projects for key clients Agrimin, Anglo American, BCI Minerals, BHP, Fortescue Metals, Goldfields, Griffin Coal Mining Company, Local Government Associations, Mineral Resources Ltd, Newmont Boddington Gold, Ok Tedi Mining Limited, Porgera JV, Rio Tinto, South32, Urban Utilities, Unitywater and Water Corporation.

He is passionate about protecting and enhancing waterways, and is motivated by his ability to lead a variety of studies that help provide scientific understanding on the range of possible ecosystem outcomes from various water management strategies.

Adam is a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP), IWC water leadership alumni, an approachable professional and has a passion for providing water / ecology management advisory services across his broad network.
