Dr Brian O'Brien heads an environmental and strategic consultancy to industry and government, with more than thirty years senior level experience on a wide variety of issues and projects. He was foundation Director and Chairman of the Environmental Protection Authority (1971-1977). After a distinguished international career as Professor of Space Science, He has directed many multi-disciplinary teams and published extensively on his own research, including books on greenhouse, State-Federal relations and environmental treaties. He has been principal adviser on ten major Acts of Parliament. Particular expertise and successes are in overview analysis and strategic planning of complex multidisciplinary projects, including public involvement. Since 2009 Brian has been an Adjunct Professor in Physics at the University of Western Australia.
