Bruce Hegge

Dr Bruce Hegge is the Managing Director of Teal Solutions Pty Ltd and a coastal scientist with over 25 years professional experience. Dr Hegge's has a strong understanding of environmental assessment, monitoring and management of coastal and marine infrastructure projects. He is a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) with a PhD in Geography and has demonstrated skills in project management, presentations and report writing. He has an excellent understanding of environmental legislation, regulation and management frameworks at both the State and Federal levels. Bruce has completed over 300 environmental studies and has strong ties with the academic community.
Dr Hegge is an Adjunct A/Professor and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a range of non-executive and advisory roles including. Through many years of commercial experience he has demonstrated the delivery of good governance and business strategy through a number of organisations. Through his commercial and governance roles he has developed a strong understanding of business finances, human resource management, change management and business systems. Bruce is a systems thinker with a deep appreciation of the value of strong organisational cultures in maximising staff engagement and business outcomes. He has a demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development and the application of innovative methods to improve efficiencies and ensure best-practice.
