Karen Crews

Karen is an environmental scientist with a strong environmental reporting and policy background. Her experience lies in environmental investigation and analysis and technical authorship across many environmental fields including biodiversity, natural resource management, sustainability and emissions reporting. Karen has worked in various roles with the EPA Services Unit, Department of Environment and Conservation and environmental consulting. As a co-founder and Director of Phoenix Environmental Sciences (2008), Karen has significant experience in project management, systems and staff development, technical reporting, impact assessment and quality assurance. Karen’s role as Phoenix’s Senior Environmental Advisor involves the preparation of technical reports, environmental reports, policy documents, ministerial and EPA correspondence, environmental reviews and audits.
