Kellie Bauer-Simpson
Profile
Kellie is an ecologist and a Director of Focused Vision Consulting. She has worked as an environmental consultant in Perth and throughout Western Australia since 1999. Kellie’s technical expertise is in ecology and in particular, the assessment of flora and vegetation values. Throughout her professional career, Kellie has managed and contributed to a range of projects throughout WA for mining, infrastructure, development, planning and research applications. In addition to specialist botanical and ecological skills across all of Western Australia, Kellie has experience in environmental management and impact assessment and in has particular experience in map based environmental constraints analyses for development planning. Kellie’s technical experience also includes revegetation and rehabilitation projects, including design and monitoring of revegetation and experimental design. She has a sound knowledge of relevant legislation and the environmental approvals process at both State and Commonwealth levels, having contributed to a number of review documents for approvals in Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory. Kellie has been RABSQA accredited in auditing and has experience in the preparation of management systems, including EMS, QMS and OHSMS. Kellie has worked as part of on-site environmental teams in development project scenarios, including community and stakeholder liaison roles. She is an experienced project manager and leader, with several years’ experience in leading technical teams in consulting environments. Her abilities in this regard also extend to operational and business management.
