Penny is a zoologist with over eight years experience in fauna surveys required for both formal and informal assessments, for a wide range of clients. The majority of her fieldwork has been based in the Pilbara, Kimberley and Southwest, specifically involving Level 2 vertebrate fauna surveys, Level 1 vertebrate fauna assessments, targeted threatened fauna surveys, mammal, bird and amphibian monitoring surveys, Short Range Endemic (SRE) invertebrate fauna surveys and stygofauna and troglofauna surveys. Penny is a specialist in the area of amphibian population monitoring using occupancy modelling, having designed and implemented a long-term amphibian monitoring program for a local council. Penny is currently employed as a Zoologist with Biota Environmental Sciences.
