Chris is an aquatic ecologist with over eight years’ experience in the Western Australian environmental consultancy sector. He has experience in managing and leading aquatic fauna surveys and ecosystem monitoring projects for clients across the mining, infrastructure, State and local government and NRM sectors across Western Australia, as well as technical skills in scientific reporting, analysis of ecological data and the field and laboratory taxonomy of a wide variety aquatic fauna, including macroinvertebrates. Chris is also passionate about environmental education and promoting community awareness of local environmental and sustainability issues. He currently volunteers as an Education Assistant at both the WA Gould League (Herdsman Lake) And the Piney Lakes Environmental Education Centre (City of Melville), where he assists with presentations, workshops, guided tours and activities, and event coordination and management.
