Freea is a co-founding Director of Viridis Environmental with over 20 years' experience in a variety of roles both in Australia and internationally; including consulting, research and government. Freea has experience in managing multidisciplinary environmental teams, and has a strong ecological background with particular expertise in the environmental impact assessment for the mining, oil and gas and infrastructure sectors.

Freea has a passion for greenfields mine development, particularly from exploration, through construction and into operations and have seen first-hand how commitments made in approval documentation translate to workable solutions on the ground. Freea also has extensive infrastructure experience and has assisted with numerous road project approvals and compliance.

Freea has a unique ability to work with multi-disciplinary project teams and sub consultants to achieve the necessary project outcomes. Freea can assist with project development approvals requirements, technically review documentation ahead of submission or review approvals for compliance requirements. Freea is also a qualified botanist and can conduct targeted and reconnaissance field surveys and work as part of larger botanical teams and provide the necessary supervision and technical review.
