Karri commenced work with Natural Area in 2018 after completing a double degree in Bachelor of Science and Arts (Environmental Biology and Geography) at Curtin University. Karri's organisation and strong work ethic led her to be quickly promoted to Supervisor in 2019. During her time at Natural Area Karri has demonstrated excellent native and exotic botanical knowledge and ability to identify species in the field. She was a part of the seed collection and processing team for three seasons and has experience in collecting seed from various species in the Swan Coastal Plain bioregion. Karri joined the Consulting unit fulltime in 2021, and has undertaken numerous flora assessments, weed mapping activities, Black Cockatoo habitat assessments, revegetation monitoring and basic and detailed fauna surveys. Karri has extensive knowledge and experience within the Swan Coastal Plain, Avon Wheatbelt, South-West region and Greater Southern region.
