Michi Maier is a botanist with 30 years experience in flora and vegetation surveys. With a background in environmental impact assessment (EIA) and baseline biological surveys, particularly for the mining industry, she has specialised in the areas of vegetation mapping and flora surveys. Project involvement has included impact assessment; monitoring of riparian vegetation and rehabilitation areas; large-scale floristic analyses, using data sets with several hundred sites; and identification and management of conservation significant flora populations and Threatened and Priority Ecological Communities (TECs and PECs). Michi is a Director with Biota Environmental Sciences Pty Ltd.
