Sally Robinson

Sally Robinson is a specialist generalist. She provides strategic advice to clients on the best way to gain approvals and protect the environment. She develops innovative environmental approaches and in 2002 was awarded a Certificate of Merit in the Golden Gecko Awards. Sally was appointed to the EPA in 1997 being Deputy Chairman until 2000. She has worked in the mining and petroleum industries, with the WA Environmental Protection Authority department on environmental impact assessment, environmental policy, development of guidelines, codes of practice, pollution licensing and implementation and monitoring. EIA experience ranges from uranium mining, major infrastructure to managing the assessment of the Stage 1 and 2 Peel-Harvey Management Strategy (Dawesville Channel) for the EPA. She initiated the State’s approach to integrated catchment management. Sally has had her own consultancy since 1994 (Strategic Environmental Solutions) carrying out a broad variety of projects. She was a State finalist in the Telstra Australian Businesswoman of the Year Awards in 1999, and has been a member of senior government delegations to South Africa and China.
