ECA ‘Biodiversity in Western Australia’ Art Exhibition

Who Are We?

The Environmental Consultants Association (WA) Inc. (ECA) is the professional body representing commercial environmental consultants throughout Western Australia. The environmental consultants that we represent provide a broad range of environmental services, in fields such as: conservation; climate change; environmental impact; aquatic and marine ecology; botany and zoology, amongst many others.

About The Exhibition

The ECA ‘Biodiversity in Western Australia’ Art Exhibition 2020 will be a group art exhibition that showcases artwork in the theme ‘Biodiversity in Western Australia’ by local WA artists. The exhibition will be open to the public and welcomes participation from all creatives; including ECA members, non-members, professional and amateur artists.

Our members professionally engage with the biodiversity of WA on a daily basis, therefore this art exhibition is a celebration our members’ professional lives from a different perspective: creatively through art.

The aim of the exhibition is to foster collaboration between the community of artists who portray WA’s biodiversity through their art, environmental consultants who embody WA’s biodiversity through their work, and the greater public who enjoy and appreciate WA’s biodiversity. This exhibition will bring together people from all kinds of backgrounds, but who are linked through a common interest: Western Australia’s unique landscapes, flora and fauna.

Creatives are invited to submit artwork in one of the following medium categories-

2D painting, drawing, mixed media or photography, or 3D sculpture or hanging mobile art.

A ‘peoples choice’ prize to the value of $200 will be awarded on completion of the exhibition.
